[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The owner of a motorcycle shop in Incheon in his 40s was found dead after being stabbed with a weapon. The police have identified a suspect and are pursuing him.
According to the Bupyeong Police Station in Incheon on the 16th, at around 2:48 a.m., a report was received by 112 that the owner, Mr. A, was found bleeding and collapsed at a motorcycle shop in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
Mr. A had about 10 stab wounds on his neck and abdomen, and a weapon believed to have been used in the crime was found at the scene.
Mr. A was in cardiac arrest and received emergency treatment including CPR from the 119 paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital, but he died.
The police have identified suspect Mr. B on suspicion of murder based on CCTV footage from the crime scene and are tracking him down.
Mr. B also posted a message on an internet community related to motorcycles immediately after the crime.
He stated, "Don’t cheat in the afterlife. Four years ago, I was defrauded of 200 million and 300 million won at the shop operated by Mr. A," and added, "I am going for revenge and to make an extreme choice."
The police are pursuing Mr. B to secure custody and plan to request an autopsy of Mr. A’s body from the National Forensic Service.
