Dunamu Issues Proof NFTs to Members Donating Digital Assets for Ukraine Peace Support

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] Dunamu announced on the 16th that it will provide non-fungible tokens (NFTs) certifying donations to Upbit members who participated in the digital asset donation campaign praying for peace in Ukraine last March.

From March 4 to 20, during the digital asset donation campaign for peace in Ukraine held on Upbit, 902 Upbit members donated digital assets worth 160 million KRW. Dunamu plans to issue donation certification NFTs to about 800 Upbit members who agreed to receive them among those who participated in the donation.

The donation certification NFT will feature the work "Bluebird of Peace" by artist Park Byungjun, who has developmental disabilities. The artwork depicts a girl releasing a bluebird that meets other bluebirds, and multiple bluebirds gather to convey a message of peace, symbolizing the wish for peace in Ukraine.

Artist Park Byungjun became involved in this Ukraine donation certification NFT through his connection with BearBetter and Upbit NFT, who collaborated to sell his artwork at the event commemorating Disability Day last month.

A Dunamu official said, "Seeing many people participate in donations in such a short time made us realize the importance of creating a space for sharing and opportunities," adding, "We will create opportunities for many people to join in meaningful causes together in the future."
