Kumho Construction Wins Contract for Apartment Construction in Sinjeong-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Kumho Construction announced on the 16th that it has secured the contract for the "Ulsan Sinjeong-dong Apartment New Construction Project," with a total construction cost of 108.6 billion KRW.

This project involves building 402 apartment units in four buildings ranging from three basement floors to 37 above-ground floors on a 11,760㎡ site located at 1154-7 Sinjeong-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan Metropolitan City. The complex will consist of a single preferred unit size of 84㎡, offering various types including ▲84㎡A with 140 units, ▲84㎡B with 128 units, and ▲84㎡C with 134 units. The construction period is 39 months from the actual groundbreaking date, with construction commencement and sales scheduled for August.

Nam-gu, Ulsan, where this complex will be located, boasts excellent living infrastructure and a well-established educational environment. Ulsan City Hall and the courthouse are near the complex, and various major local facilities and conveniences such as Hyundai Department Store, Lotte Department Store, Lotte Hotel, and the Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market are nearby. Within walking distance from the complex are Sinjeong Elementary School, Hakseong Middle School, Gaon Middle School, and Ulsan Girls' High School.

Convenient transportation is another advantage. The site is located in the center of Ulsan, providing easy access to local and metropolitan transportation, and is close to Ulsan Terminal. Using National Route 31 adjacent to the complex, it is easy to travel to Ulsan’s old downtown and major industrial complexes, making commuting convenient.

A Kumho Construction official stated, "With this contract, we can introduce Kumho Construction apartments in a highly preferred residential location in Ulsan," adding, "We will do our best to supply excellent housing products based on our abundant housing project know-how and technical expertise."
