[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Chong Kun Dang announced on the 11th that it has launched 'Mogenjal,' a product containing domestically grown 6-year-old red ginseng and six ingredients beneficial for the throat in one packet.
Mogenjal contains domestically grown 6-year-old red ginseng along with doraji (balloon flower root), omija (Schisandra chinensis), mogwa (quince), honey from Apis cerana, ginger, and pear, all good for the throat. It uses domestic main ingredients and is produced in a manufacturing facility certified for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). It is a stick-type liquid product that is easy to carry and consume, allowing intake anytime and anywhere without water.
A Chong Kun Dang official said, "Mogenjal combines 6-year-old red ginseng with six representative natural ingredients known to help throat care as presented in Donguibogam and Bonchogangmok, along with fructooligosaccharides, known as food for beneficial intestinal bacteria. It is a suitable product for modern people who have increased interest in throat health and immunity."
Mogenjal should be taken 1 to 3 times a day, one packet per intake. Each packet contains 10g and is sold in units of 7 packets at pharmacies and 35 packets on online malls.
