[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] It was reported on the 10th that First Lady Kim Geon-hee, wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol, plans to close or temporarily suspend Kobana Contents. As the representative of the company, she is expected to focus on supporting her husband for the time being by attending official events as the president's spouse.

Initially, it was anticipated that Kim would continue to run her company even after President Yoon's official inauguration. However, since opposition parties have raised suspicions surrounding Kobana Contents, it is interpreted that she does not want to create unnecessary controversy during the president's term. Previously, Kim planned exhibitions featuring Mark Rothko, Le Corbusier, and Alberto Giacometti while operating Kobana Contents.

On this day, Kim appeared publicly for the first time at the 20th presidential inauguration ceremony. Until now, she had only participated in private schedules following President Yoon's election. On the 3rd, she visited Guinsa Temple in Danyang, Chungbuk, and met with monks, and on the 26th of last month, she quietly visited Bongeunsa Temple in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, showing a quiet religious approach.

In addition, Kim, who has increased her external activities by attending art museum exhibitions and small-scale abandoned dog sponsorship events, is expected to begin a public schedule starting with the inauguration ceremony. Attention is also focused on whether she will create a new model of First Lady as the first First Lady born in the 1970s.
