Open Concert Held to Commemorate Government Blue House Opening

Applications Accepted from 1 PM on the 10th

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold the KBS Open Concert at 7:30 PM on the 22nd in the Grand Garden in front of the Blue House Main Building. This event is organized to commemorate the opening of the Blue House. Under the subtitle "Opening Today with the People, A Hopeful Tomorrow," various artists will present Korean traditional music, classical music, popular songs, and dance performances. All performances will be broadcast live on KBS Channel 1. The Ministry will invite about 500 people, including national merit recipients, healthcare workers, Hanmubo multicultural families, and nearby residents. The remaining 1,500 seats will be open to the general public. Applications will be accepted from 1 PM on the 10th through the National Application system, the website of the Traditional Performing Arts Promotion Foundation, and the Culture Portal. A ministry official stated, "Applications will close on the 13th, and winners will be randomly selected," adding, "Notification of the results will be sent to the contact information provided on the 16th."
