[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Korea Land and Housing Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters announced on the 9th that it will implement an additional recruitment announcement for public sale housing in Gwangju Seonun2 Newlywed Hope Town on the 16th.
The Gwangju Seonun2 A-1 and A-3BL public sale housing is the first Newlywed Hope Town (public housing specialized for newlywed couples) in Gwangju Jeonnam, designed with an exclusive area of 55㎡ (formerly 24 pyeong). The initial recruitment announcement was made in February, recording an average subscription rate of 106% for A-1BL by housing type and 141% for A-3BL.
This announcement will conduct additional recruitment for a total of 220 units that were not selected in the initial recruitment results.
The supply schedule is planned as follows: recruitment announcement (May 16), subscription application (May 23-24), winner announcement (June 8), and contract signing (September).
Eligibility includes ▲ newlylywed couples (household members without a house who have been married within 7 years or have children aged 6 or younger) ▲ prospective newlywed couples (household members without a house who plan to marry and can prove marriage within one year from the announcement date) ▲ single-parent families (father or mother with children aged 6 or younger, household members without a house), and qualification criteria such as income, home ownership status, and total asset holdings (3.41 billion KRW or less) of the applying household are applied.
The sale prices are ▲ A-1BL 55A type 277 million KRW, 55B type 276 million KRW, 55C type 278 million KRW, 55D type 276 million KRW ▲ A-3BL 55B type 271 million KRW, 55C type 272 million KRW.
Without the burden of interim payments, only 10% of the sale price is paid at the time of contract, and the remainder is paid upon housing move-in scheduled for April 2025. This is expected to alleviate the economic burden on young generations such as newlywed couples who find it difficult to prepare a large sum of money. Another major advantage of the Gwangju Seonun2 A-1BL and A-3BL public sale housing is the availability of a profit-sharing type mortgage loan (fixed interest rate of 1.3% per annum, supporting up to 70% of the house price for up to 30 years), which is a long-term housing mortgage loan product exclusive to Newlywed Hope Town.
The Seonun2 district is a public housing district developed on a scale of 398,000㎡ in Seonam-dong, Unsu-dong, and Sochon-dong areas of Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City. LH plans to supply 1,830 units in three blocks for sale and rent (A-1 and A-3BL public sale 741 units + Happy Housing 483 units, A-2BL National Rental 447 units + Permanent Rental 159 units).
One private sale block was supplied by Youngmu Construction, which completed pre-subscription for 505 units in April. Above all, the geographical advantage of the Seonun2 district located in the city center is attracting strong interest from local residents.
Those wishing to visit the model house can use the cyber model house and housing exhibition hall. If you wish to visit the housing exhibition hall, you must make a reservation in advance through the cyber model house due to the visitor pre-reservation system.
