No Income or Property Criteria, Youth Aged 19-34 Preparing for Independence
First Implementation This Year, Until the 20th at Eup, Myeon, Dong Administrative Welfare Centers

This program provides professional and systematic psychological counseling services to help young people who need psychological and emotional services live as healthy members of society. It is being implemented for the first time this year.
Targeting young people aged 19 to 34, there are no income or asset criteria, but priority is given to youth preparing for discharge from facilities or those who have been discharged and are preparing for independence, as well as youth linked through mental health welfare centers who need services.
From June to August, over a period of three months, ten sessions of professional psychological counseling will be conducted. Users can select a suitable institution from among registered service providers and receive counseling after signing a contract.
Applicants must visit the administrative welfare center in their resident registration area (eup, myeon, dong) by the 20th, bring their ID, priority proof documents for youth preparing for independence, and confirmation of protection termination, fill out the application form available there, and submit it.
Kim Namhee, Director of the Social Welfare Division, said, “This will relieve the psychological burdens young people face in daily life and prevent the occurrence of mental health problems, thereby improving their quality of life. We will do our best to provide services that satisfy participating youth.”
