Gwangju Gyeongjinwon Opens 'Yangdong Traditional Market River Market Night Market'

The Yangdong-i River Market Night Market is held as part of the Yangdong Traditional Market Commercial Area Revitalization Project and will be held as an in-person festival following the lifting of all social distancing measures.

This night market will operate a total of 30 booths with participation from market merchants, youth, and local residents, and is planned as a vibrant festival to soothe the daily life tired from COVID-19 with various night market foods and abundant entertainment events.

In particular, to ensure the success of the River Market, themed foods and small festival programs (Hongtak Day, Chimaek Day, Geonmaek Day) will be operated simultaneously as cultural events, and a glamping-style emotional cabana booth will be installed, operating booths reminiscent of a campsite to differentiate from other night markets.

Additionally, a live commerce will be conducted so that even those who do not visit the night market festival site can enjoy night market food at home, unfolding an online night market for citizens reluctant to visit the festival site due to COVID-19.

Orders can be placed through Naver Smart Store, and delivery to the home will be made within 2 hours after the broadcast ends.
