The 'Love Meal Truck' is conducted at senior centers with more than 30 users (30 locations) and is scheduled to be held a total of 30 times until the end of the year.
Also, with the recent implementation of revised social distancing measures, meal services at senior centers in the area resumed from the 18th of last month.
It is expected to help resolve nutritional imbalances among the elderly.
Since those who have completed the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine have been allowed to use senior centers from the 18th of last month, meals can be taken at senior centers while complying with quarantine rules such as temperature checks, wearing masks, and sitting apart.
Acting Mayor of Boseong-gun, Deputy Mayor Park Woo-yuk said, “We will operate senior centers strictly following quarantine rules and run various programs necessary for the emotional stability and cognitive development of the elderly to enable a return to daily life as before COVID-19,” and added, “We ask those using the senior centers to strictly observe the quarantine rules.”
