Democratic Party Candidate Shin Woo-cheol Confirmed for Wando County Governor

[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Shin Woo-cheol has been confirmed as the Democratic Party candidate for Wando County Governor in the June 1 nationwide simultaneous local elections.

According to the Democratic Party Jeonnam Provincial Party on the 6th, the Wando County Governor primary election introduced a runoff vote and was conducted on the 4th and 5th with 50% of the voting rights party members and 50% of the safe number voters.

Candidate Shin received 50.21%, narrowly defeating candidate Kim Shin, who received 49.79%, by a margin of 0.42%.

With this, Shin Woo-cheol, the candidate for Wando County Governor, takes a step closer to becoming a three-term county governor affiliated with the Democratic Party, along with Kim Jun-sung, the candidate for Yeonggwang County Governor.
