[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 6th that it has selected "Louis Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon" as the fourth wine in the "Lotte Signature Wine" series.
The Lotte Signature Wine series is a joint project by Lotte Chilsung Beverage and Lotte Group's distribution affiliates to allow consumers to enjoy carefully selected wines at more affordable prices. Starting with the "Trivento Reserve Limited Edition 2 types" launched at the end of 2020, the series has operated a total of three types so far, including "The Slouch Shiraz" and "Lan Mension."
Louis Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine delicately expressing the rich flavors of ripe red fruits and cherries, blended with a small amount of Petit Sirah added to the representative red wine grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon. It features subtle aromas of dark chocolate and spices. It pairs well with various meat dishes, as well as cheese and pasta, and has an alcohol content of 14%.
Louis Martini, the producer of the product, is a representative winery in Napa Valley, USA, established in 1933 and operated by the fourth generation. It played a leading role in founding the Napa Valley Winegrowers Association and was recognized for its significant contribution to the development of Napa Valley wine, being inducted into the Wine Hall of Fame in 2008.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official explained, "Louis Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon was able to lower the consumer price to around 24,000 won, similar to the average local selling price in the US, through bulk ordering, reducing the burden on consumers."
