Achieving Korea's Largest Capacity Through New Core Component Designs Like Drum and Tub
Enhanced Convenience with Advanced 'Automatic Detergent Dispensing' Function
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Samsung Electronics has unveiled the largest 25kg capacity washing machine in Korea.
On the 4th, Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the new 'Bespoke Grande Washing Machine Artificial Intelligence (AI)'. This product is an upgrade released two years after Samsung introduced the 24kg 'Grande Washing Machine AI', the largest capacity in Korea at the time in 2020, reflecting consumer trends wanting to do large amounts of laundry without burden.
This new product features newly designed core components of the washing machine, the drum and tub, achieving the largest capacity in Korea. Despite the increased capacity, it has obtained the highest energy efficiency rating of Grade 1, the same as existing washing machines.
The 'Auto Detergent Dispenser' function, which automatically adds detergent and softener, has been upgraded to enhance convenience. The capacities of the automatic detergent and softener compartments have been expanded to allow longer use without worrying about refilling. When fully filled with detergent and softener, it automatically dispenses the right amount for about 6 weeks, longer than the previous approximately 4 weeks.
The advantages of the existing Bespoke Grande Washing Machine AI have been retained. The differentiated 'Auto Open Door' function is designed to automatically open the door at the end of the washing cycle, allowing hygienic management of laundry without concerns about internal moisture. When going out, the door opening operation can also be set via SmartThings.
Additionally, it includes ▲ 'Bubble Wash' that removes stubborn stains and rinses out detergent ▲ 'Tub Clean+,' which allows easy washing tub maintenance without special detergent ▲ 'Pet Care Course,' effectively removing allergens, stains, and odors caused by pets ▲ and 'Sterilization Wash' that eliminates worries about house dust mites.
Samsung Electronics also offers a 'Lifetime Warranty' service for the digital inverter motor, providing free parts repair or replacement if a malfunction occurs while the consumer uses the product.
The washing machine is available in a total of seven models, including four classic colors: Black, Greige, Inox, and White, and three satin colors: Satin Light Beige, Satin Silver, and Satin Green. The retail price ranges from 1,599,000 KRW to 1,899,000 KRW depending on specifications.
