Entries must be unpublished photos and should include major cultural, natural, tourism resources, festivals, etc. that promote Boseong-gun.
The work specifications require digital photos of 3000 pixels or more, printed in 11×14 inch size for submission.
The submission period is from November 1 to November 19, and judging and announcement will take place in November.
A total of 61 works will be selected and awarded to widely promote Boseong-gun (1 Grand Prize of 2 million KRW, 2 Silver Prizes of 1 million KRW each, 3 Bronze Prizes of 500,000 KRW each, 5 Honorable Mentions of 200,000 KRW each, and 50 Selected Works of 100,000 KRW each).
This contest is judged by the Jeonnam branch of the Korea Professional Photographers Association to ensure artistic quality, and winners will be awarded membership points from the Korea Professional Photographers Association.
The winning works will be used for promotional materials and to discover hidden scenic spots to develop and promote new tourism resources (such as popular photo spots and hip places).
A county official said, "The tourism photo contest is a great opportunity to widely promote the diverse and beautiful tourism resources of Boseong-gun," adding, "We hope that many diverse and creative photos will be submitted through the contest, providing an opportunity to discover Boseong-gun's attractive landscapes and hidden gems."
