Saltlux Wins KOTRA 'Haedream' Advancement Project Contract

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Saltlux (CEO Lee Kyung-il), a leading artificial intelligence company, announced on the 3rd that it has signed a contract to win the bid for the "Overseas Economic Information Integrated Platform Construction Project (Phase 2)" commissioned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency).

This project aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of companies wishing to expand overseas and activate collaborative networks by building an integrated infrastructure that allows timely use of information necessary for exports and overseas investment. The contract amount is approximately 2 billion KRW.

Through the Phase 1 project, Saltlux developed the overseas expansion one-stop platform "Overseas Information Dream" (hereinafter referred to as "Haedream"), which not only provides integrated overseas economic information accumulated from 79 affiliated institutions but also incorporates over 250 portal services and four types of customized AI services. Since its official opening in March, Haedream has received great responses from industry insiders, with an average daily visit of 15,000 companies.

In this Phase 2 project, the focus will be on ▲ operation/management of the constructed system ▲ establishment of an AI-based analysis platform ▲ expansion of affiliated institutions and collected information ▲ introduction of intelligent services. Saltlux plans to successfully carry out this project by consolidating its public institution project capabilities accumulated through clients such as Korea Electric Power Corporation, Korea District Heating Corporation, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Constitutional Court.

Previously, Saltlux also undertook the "Trade Big Data Construction Project" of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). In this project, Saltlux developed a platform that integrates and analyzes structured and unstructured data collected from various related institutions and customers, implementing a hyper-personalized service that recommends related news and support projects based on the customer's activity history.

Additionally, by introducing a knowledge-based deep conversation chatbot, Saltlux established a process to respond promptly to civil complaints 24 hours a day, maximizing customer convenience and employee work efficiency. Saltlux has supplied chatbots to numerous institutions and companies such as NH Nonghyup Bank, Woori Bank, Korea Investment & Securities, and BMW Financial Services Korea. Notably, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "National Secretary Gooppi" has become a nationwide chatbot service used by more than 2,000 people daily.

A Saltlux representative said, "As the launch of the 'Digital Platform Government' scheduled for May this year approaches, data integration projects utilizing big data and artificial intelligence technologies have recently gained more attention. Saltlux, having already been recognized for its business experience providing various public services using public data and its technological capabilities in AI analysis and utilization, will be the best partner for data integration-related projects."
