[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] LG Uplus, aligning with the recovery of daily life, has introduced a ‘Roaming 100 Won Promotion’ for overseas travelers to innovate customer experience, and now offers discount benefits for customers who wish to enjoy art and cultural content at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA).
LG Uplus announced on the 3rd that it has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with the MMCA among telecommunications companies, providing its customers with a 50% discount on admission fees. Additionally, it will support the MMCA in establishing customized marketing strategies by utilizing big data analysis reports.
Under this agreement, LG Uplus customers can receive discount benefits until April 30, 2023. For certain special exhibitions, free admission benefits will also be offered through a lottery among customers who apply in advance. Admission discount coupons and invitation tickets can be issued via LG Uplus’s lifestyle service app, ‘U+ Members.’
LG Uplus plans to publish and provide the MMCA with big data analysis reports based on ‘Data Plus.’ Data Plus is a big data service that analyzes various online and offline demands of users by using customer characteristics and movement patterns, and is utilized across various industries such as distribution, manufacturing, and culture, in addition to the education specialist company ‘Daekyo.’
The big data analysis report includes characteristics of visitors to the four currently operating MMCA branches, their main interests, and commercial districts and attractions visited before and after their visit. The MMCA expects to establish customer-tailored marketing strategies based on the report.
