May 'Family Month' and 'Jeonnam Sports Festival' Suncheon City Tour Planned Course Operation

Special Family Month Events and Jeollanam-do Sports Festival Enjoyed by City Tour

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it will operate the Suncheon City Tour May special courses from the 5th to the 22nd in celebration of Family Month in May and the Jeonnam Sports Festival.

The Family Month course will be held a total of four times from Children's Day on the 5th to the 8th, operating major courses including Suncheonman National Garden, Suncheonman Wetland, and Nagan Eupseong, where events related to Children's Day and Family Month are abundant.

In particular, to celebrate this Children's Day, visitors can enjoy special reptile exhibitions, edible insect tasting experiences, and flower seed giveaways at Suncheonman National Garden.

The Jeonnam Sports Festival course is divided into a circular course and an event course in connection with the 30th Jeollanam-do Disabled Sports Competition (hereinafter Jeonnam Disabled Sports Festival) and the 61st Jeollanam-do Sports Festival (hereinafter Jeonnam Sports Festival).

The Jeonnam Sports Festival circular course operates four times a day, circulating between Palma Gymnasium, the main stadium for both sports festivals, and major city attractions. It runs for a total of six days from the 11th to the 13th when the Jeonnam Disabled Sports Festival is held, and from the 20th to the 22nd when the Jeonnam Sports Festival takes place.

The Jeonnam Sports Festival event course passes through Suncheon’s major tourist sites, Nagan Eupseong and Seonamsa Temple, and the plaza in front of the Palma Main Stadium where the auxiliary events of the Jeonnam Sports Festival are held. It operates from the 20th to the 22nd.

At the event site, visitors can enjoy event zones such as cotton candy performances and VR sports experiences, as well as outdoor performances, food trucks, and booths selling excellent agricultural and specialty products.
