Nationwide Largest 'Gyeonggi-do National Safety Experience Center' Abundant Special Events in May

[Asia Economy (Osan) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 'Gyeonggi-do National Safety Experience Center,' which opened last month, is preparing special events for Children's Day (May 5) and Parents' Day (May 8) in celebration of Family Month in May.

The Experience Center will first invite about 120 children from multicultural and single-parent families in the southern Gyeonggi region on the 5th, Children's Day, to participate in special experience programs that families can enjoy together, such as earthquake, typhoon, first aid, and firefighter job experiences. There will also be a 4D movie experience and a photo time with the firefighter mascot 'Yeongung-i.'

On the 8th, Parents' Day, the Experience Center will offer customized programs including CPR training with parents, carnation making, and everyday safety education. Safety education in the Children's Fairy Tale Village will also be conducted for children under 9 years old. Each session (70 minutes) can accommodate 15 teams (3-4 people per team including parents).

The Gyeonggi-do National Safety Experience Center is located in Naesammi-dong, Osan City, with a site area of 16,745㎡ and a total floor area of 7,094㎡ (1 basement floor and 1 above-ground floor in one building). It is the first and largest safety experience facility in Gyeonggi-do, featuring 9 experience zones and 52 experience programs nationwide.
