[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Incheon Naeun Hospital announced on the 29th that it will operate a 'Long Covid Clinic' capable of treating aftereffects and providing immune therapy for patients struggling to recover their daily lives after COVID-19 infection.


Incheon Naeun Hospital provides multidisciplinary collaborative treatment by medical staff from five departments, centered on the Department of Respiratory Medicine, including the Departments of Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, Neurology, and Orthopedics, to support the stable recovery of Long Covid patients.


Additionally, blood tests, X-rays, pulmonary function tests, and neurological examinations are conducted according to symptoms to identify the causes of COVID-19 aftereffects. Customized management and treatment are provided for each patient, and immediate hospitalization treatment is available after isolation is lifted.


Hospital Director Ha Heon-young said, "Many people suffer from post-COVID aftereffects, so we established the post-COVID aftereffects clinic to alleviate that pain," adding, "We will not only treat COVID patients but also focus intensively on managing and treating the aftereffects that occur after full recovery."
