[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] bhc Group's ‘Changgo43’ recently opened its first direct management store of the year, ‘Pangyo Branch,’ in Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, and officially started operations, the company announced on the 29th.
Changgo43 Pangyo Branch is a large-scale store with a total area of approximately 680㎡ (about 206 pyeong) and 228 seats. It is the second store in the metropolitan area and the 20th direct management store nationwide.
The interior was designed to create a sophisticated and elegant space by harmoniously combining wood and iron materials so that visitors can enjoy Korean beef (Hanwoo) in a comfortable atmosphere. Additionally, 18 private rooms were separately arranged to serve as spaces for dining and meetings, embodying the concept of a ‘space for business.’
Located at the intersection near Pangyo Station on the Shinbundang Line, Changgo43 Pangyo Branch is close to Pangyo Techno Valley, where large domestic IT companies, financial firms, and other major corporations are concentrated. Compared to other regions, there is a relatively large number of office workers in their 20s and 30s, and Changgo43 plans to actively target this demographic with its unique quality and service to expand the Hanwoo consumer base to younger generations.
To commemorate the opening, Changgo43 is holding a special lunch menu discount event for customers visiting the Pangyo Branch. The discount applies to Changgo43’s popular lunch menus, Wang Galbitang and Yukhoe Bibimbap, with 30% off available for 100 servings each until the day of the event.
Wang Galbitang is a menu featuring generous rib meat attached to sturdy rib bones and bean sprouts, adding a refreshing taste, and is the most sought-after lunch menu among office workers. Yukhoe Bibimbap, which is very popular among young women, contains soft raw beef, sprouts, radish sprouts, beets, baby vegetables, and various other vegetables, harmonizing the savory flavor of the raw beef with the freshness of the vegetables.
Ko Byunghwan, Director of bhc’s Direct Management Business Division, said, “The Pangyo Branch is directly connected to Pangyo Station on the Shinbundang Line, making accessibility excellent. We expect it to be popular not only among nearby office workers but also as a family gathering place for local residents.”
