Yangpyeong Fire Station's 'Yangseo 119 Safety Center' Opens on the 28th


[Asia Economy (Yangpyeong) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 'Yangseo 119 Safety Center,' which will be responsible for the safety of the western Gyeonggi-do area, including Yangpyeong Dumulmeori and Semiwon, visited annually by 1.8 million tourists, has newly opened.


The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 29th that it held the opening ceremony of the Yangseo 119 Safety Center under the Yangpyeong Fire Station on the 28th.


The opening ceremony was attended by Jeong Dong-gyun, Yangpyeong County Governor; Jeon Jin-seon, Chairman of the Yangpyeong County Council; Kim Seon-kyo, National Assembly member (People Power Party); Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly members Lee Jong-in and Jeon Seung-hee; and volunteer firefighters.


The Yangseo 119 Safety Center was built by relocating the existing Yangseo 119 regional office building, with a total floor area of 992㎡ and two floors above ground. Four fire trucks and 25 firefighters are assigned to ensure the safety of Yangpyeong residents.


Go Young-joo, head of the Yangpyeong Fire Station, said, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality fire services that are trusted and loved by the residents."
