Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongbuk, Conducts Training for Elementary School Survival Swimming Safety Instructors This Year

Ready for Summer Water Play with Survival Swimming Experience

This year, the School Operation Committee Chairperson Capacity Building Training and Regular Meeting were conducted.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gui-yeol] The Bonghwa Office of Education in Gyeongbuk Province conducted a training session on survival swimming safety guidance for elementary school survival swimming instructors via a non-face-to-face video conference starting at 1 p.m. on the 27th.

Students in Bonghwa-gun will learn survival swimming for the first time at the Bonghwa National Sports Center swimming pool, which opened in 2021. To provide practical safety education that can enhance life protection skills, the experience will be conducted by school from May to July.

In this training, instructor Park Yoon-seo from Bonghwa National Sports Center focused on indoor safety education to prevent potential safety accidents that may occur in practice before conducting survival swimming and facility safety.

Superintendent Park Se-rak urged, “Please pay special attention to safety during transportation to and within the swimming pool and make efforts to conduct survival swimming while adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines.”
