Plus & Partners (CEO Jang Hyung-wook)'s eco-friendly culture platform 'ECOg' announced that it has opened a pop-up store on the first floor of Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch since the 15th, showcasing more than 10 lifestyle brands using eco-friendly materials.
Eco-friendly consumption is no longer a temporary trend driven by a minority but has become a global standard for consumption. Along with the recent lifting of social distancing measures and expectations for the transition to an 'endemic,' demand for outdoor activities has significantly increased. Department stores, which have embraced eco-friendliness in daily life, are promoting eco-friendly consumption from product manufacturing to packaging and purchasing, conducting various activities emphasizing environmental protection and social responsibility.
Plus & Partners is a startup proposing a new lifestyle through eco-friendly new material products and preparing various content and platform services. It operates 'ECOg,' the first commerce platform in Korea that sells products conveying eco-friendly messages such as environmental protection and animal welfare.
Starting with the entry into Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch, 'ECOg' plans to actively expand its offline business. By the end of the year, it is scheduled to enter 10 domestic department stores as well as overseas department stores in China, Japan, and Taiwan, accelerating the expansion of offline channels in addition to the existing online platform.
