[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] A forum on the topic of 'Metaverse,' which has become the biggest issue in the digital world, will be held on the 28th at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul.
This forum will focus on representative cases of metaverse convergence that show new possibilities by combining business from various industries such as manufacturing, IT, gaming, distribution, and finance.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Inarae Lee, author of 'Digital Terraforming' and a leading domestic expert on the metaverse, who is a researcher at the Future Growth Strategy Center of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Planning and Evaluation.
In the first session, Professor Hoonshik Yoo from Seoul Media Graduate University will present on 'Business Changing the Metaverse,' and Research Fellow Wooyoung Kim from the Korea Construction Industry Research Institute will present on 'The Construction Industry Evolving through the Metaverse.'
In the second session, CEO Imbok Lee of Second Brain Research Institute (also an adjunct professor at the Korea Institute of Finance) will present on 'NFT, the Future of Digital Assets Already Started,' and Branch Manager Kiseok Bang of KB Kookmin Bank Tech Group InsighT will present on 'Banking Services in Virtual Spaces.'
Meanwhile, the '2022 ST Future Forum' is hosted by Straight News with sponsorship from the National Assembly Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting Communications Committee and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and will be broadcast live on YouTube from 9 a.m. that day.
