At 9:41 AM on the 27th, Maniker was trading at 2,525 won, up 19.67% from the previous trading day. The stock surged to 2,740 won during the session. Harim also continued its upward trend, trading at 4,460 won, up 16% from the previous day. The company’s stock soared to 4,955 won during the session. Maniker F&G was trading at 6,540 won, up 4.14%.
This is believed to reflect expectations that the prolonged war between Russia and Ukraine has caused a sharp rise in feed prices, which will increase the product prices of chicken producers. Earlier this month, Harim raised the prices of its Pouchi chicken breast products by 15-17%.
