InterContinental Presents Parents' Day Gifts for Parents

InterContinental Presents Parents' Day Gifts for Parents InterContinental's Carnation Cake.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong is offering a variety of products for Parents' Day ahead of the holiday.

On the 27th, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced that it will sell various products including a spa package with Sulwhasoo Balance Spa vouchers, carnation cakes and flower boxes, and a health-boosting Buldogjang set.

The "Spa Package with Sulwhasoo," available until the end of June, includes a one-night stay in the Club InterContinental Suite, which features a private layout with separate living and sleeping areas, and two vouchers (worth 300,000 KRW) for the contemporary oriental herbal spa "Sulwhasoo Balance Spa" located in front of Dosan Park. The spa vouchers for parents include facial and body care programs that are effective for fatigue recovery. Additionally, the package offers access for two to the Club InterContinental Lounge, which provides exclusive check-in and check-out, breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour at no extra charge.

The Grand Deli will offer fresh flower cakes and flower boxes expressing gratitude in a limited sale from June 1 to 8. The carnation cake is a white sponge cake with fresh mango, flavored with pink strawberry fresh cream, and topped with eight fresh carnation flowers. Customers can also choose a flower box containing a bouquet of carnations in a transparent box according to their preference.

In anticipation of the hot weather, a health-conscious Buldogjang set is also introduced. The Buldogjang set is a signature dish of the hotel’s Chinese restaurant Weilu, made with abalone, silver ear mushrooms, matsutake mushrooms, dried sea cucumber, dried scallops, and other ingredients, carefully prepared by the head chef as a nourishing dish. Orders can be made for takeout at the Grand Deli throughout May, with delivery available only in the Seoul and Bundang areas. Reservations must be made at least two days in advance.

Weilu will offer carnation centerpieces and Hopihaekdo, a Chinese-style walnut candy resembling tiger stripes, on June 7 and 8, while the Japanese restaurant Hakone will provide carnation centerpieces and chef’s special dishes.

Prices start at around 710,000 KRW including tax and service charges for the spa package, 73,000 KRW for the carnation cake, 60,000 KRW for the flower box, and 650,000 KRW for the six-person Buldogjang set.
