Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Recruiting Companies for Electronic Bidding Consulting Participation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 26th that it will recruit 18 companies on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in electronic bidding consulting for local companies in cooperation with Gwangju City.

The electronic bidding consulting support project is a program promoted to increase the winning rate of public and private bids for companies located in Gwangju Metropolitan City and to support sales growth by strengthening bidding expertise. This project has been ongoing since 2010.

The consulting involves experts visiting applicant companies 2 to 3 times to provide customized services in areas desired by the companies, such as support for issuing and registering various certificates and authentications required for electronic bidding participation, analysis of winning status in the same industry, prediction of adjustment rates, and calculation of appropriate investment amounts. All costs are fully supported.

Over the past 12 years, the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry has supported about 6,000 companies with approximately 1.2 trillion KRW in winning bids through this project. It is evaluated to have greatly helped companies located in Gwangju Metropolitan City that are struggling to secure orders due to the economic downturn, and it is also understood to have significantly contributed to reducing the costs of collecting bidding information.

Companies wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis until the 31st of next month, and consulting will begin immediately once recruitment is complete. For more details, please refer to the announcements on the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry website or contact the Cooperation Business Division of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
