[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk, participated in the '2022 Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Youth Startup Expo' held at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, from the 22nd to the 24th.
At this expo, they informed urban residents about the meaning of returning to farming and villages, introduced Sangju City's unique support policies, and promoted excellent local agricultural specialties.
The Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Youth Expo was held both at the aT Center's Exhibition Hall 1 and online simultaneously.
The exhibition and promotion hall consisted of return-to-farming and return-to-village promotion, consultation booths, and a guide hall for return-to-farming and return-to-village.
Sangju City participated with two booths, actively providing consultations on return-to-farming and return-to-village and promoting outstanding local agricultural specialties, including Sangju rice.
Kim Jong-du, Director of Agricultural Policy, said, "Through this expo, we did our best to discover prospective urban residents planning to return to farming and villages and provide tailored information to activate young return-to-farming and return-to-village participants."
