Emergency Relief Fundraising Continues for Domestic and International Disaster Areas

Timon's 'Social Donation' Launches Emergency Relief for Gangwon Wildfire and Ukraine On the 20th, Park Seong-ho, Head of Partnership Strategy at TMON (right), is delivering a donation to Shim Gyu-eon, Mayor of Donghae, for relief efforts related to the Gangwon wildfire disaster.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON's customer participation social contribution program 'Social Donation' is engaging in emergency relief efforts for disaster areas both domestically and internationally. Recently, it delivered funds for wildfire damage in Donghae City, Gangwon Province, and also launched a donation campaign for Ukraine relief.


On the 21st, TMON announced that it had delivered donations to support wildfire damage relief in Donghae City, Gangwon Province. The 11,938,000 KRW collected over two weeks starting from the 14th of last month will be fully used for supporting victims affected by the wildfire through the Gangwon branch of the Community Chest of Korea.


Additionally, TMON has newly planned a Social Donation global campaign with World Vision and has been raising funds for children affected by the Ukraine conflict for two weeks starting from the 18th. TMON customers can freely choose donation amounts ranging from 2,000 KRW to 10,000 KRW, and the collected funds will be used by World Vision to provide essential supplies such as soap, diapers, and first aid kits; psychological emergency treatment and educational environment support; and improvements to refugee shelters and public facility renovations.
