Gwangju Christian Community Holds One-Day Breakfast Prayer Meeting Supporting Candidate Lee Yong-seop

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The interdenominational elders' association held a breakfast prayer meeting for Lee Yong-seop, the preliminary candidate for mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City.

According to religious leaders in the Gwangju area on the 20th, since about 200 people gathered at the Lee Yong-seop campaign office on the 6th to hold a commemorative worship service for the office opening, from the 12th, under the leadership of Pastor Lee Won-jae, the permanent election committee chairman of the Gwangju Denomination Council, pastors and elders have been taking turns holding breakfast prayer meetings daily by district and denomination councils.

They stated, "We firmly believe that preliminary candidate Lee Yong-seop is a clean and honest candidate with a sense of mission and calling, living his faith as a deacon of Gwangju Cheomdan Eun-gwang Church, and we hold this breakfast prayer meeting for Lee Yong-seop, who will be a stepping stone for the greater and stronger future development of Gwangju."

They also emphasized, "During the 7th term of the civilian government, preliminary candidate Lee Yong-seop, despite the difficulties of COVID-19, achieved results such as realizing a labor-management win-win city through the Gwangju-type jobs, attracting the AI project, the first artificial intelligence business nationwide, transforming the city from one people leave to one where people and companies come, and also ranked first in the government joint evaluation among special and metropolitan cities."

Finally, they added, "We hold daily breakfast prayer meetings hoping that preliminary candidate Lee Yong-seop, who can continuously connect and take root the results sown over four years within God's power and lead uninterrupted development for the next 100 years, will win."
