Extended Partial Operation Period Until July 30 for Internet Government24 and Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machines Use
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will implement a lunch break closure system every Wednesday until July 30 at the General Civil Affairs Division of the main office and 10 eup/myeon offices.
In Gyeongnam Province, Changnyeong-gun, Goseong-gun, and Hapcheon-gun are fully operating the lunch break closure system.
The county partially implemented the closure system from December 20 last year to March 31 and planned to fully implement it daily from April, but extended partial operation considering minimizing inconvenience to civil complaints and allowing residents time to adapt.
During the partial operation period, the county plans to collect residents' opinions and prepare solutions by supplementing any shortcomings.
On closure days, every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m., except for some tasks, civil complaints must be issued using the Government24 website or unmanned civil complaint issuance machines.
Tasks that cannot be processed online or non-face-to-face, such as seal certificates and passport issuance, need to be completed before the closure time.
A county official said, “Through the lunch break closure system, we will raise employee morale and strive to provide improved administrative services to residents.”
