Treatment for Post-COVID Patients: Immune Boosting and Respiratory Symptom Improvement
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] The Born Hospital announced on the 19th that it has opened a specialized clinic for patients suffering from post-COVID-19 sequelae.
The Born Hospital, located in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, opened the "COVID-19 Safe Recovery Specialized Clinic" and began treatment on the 18th with the goal of enhancing immunity, restoring vitality, improving respiratory disease aftereffects, and alleviating musculoskeletal pain in COVID-19 survivors. The clinic is operated through a collaborative effort among internal medicine, neurosurgery, and orthopedic medical staff.
When patients complaining of aftereffects visit, the clinic plans to provide customized prescriptions, fluid and injection treatments, and physical activity management according to the type and symptoms of the sequelae.
Previously, The Born Hospital has conducted rapid antigen tests for COVID-19, telephone consultations, and outpatient treatment for confirmed cases.
Kim Jun-han, director of The Born Hospital, said, "A significant number of patients who received face-to-face and non-face-to-face COVID-19 treatment have complained of aftereffects, so we have been actively providing treatment for these sequelae," adding, "We will utilize the accumulated know-how in treating COVID-19 sequelae to help patients quickly return to their daily lives."
