Yuhan Yanghang-Huino, Domestic Distribution Rights Agreement Signed for Electrocardiogram Monitoring 'MemoPatch'

Yuhan Yanghang-Huino, Domestic Distribution Rights Agreement Signed for Electrocardiogram Monitoring 'MemoPatch'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Yuhan Corporation and Huino announced on the 19th that they have signed a domestic distribution rights contract for the 'MEMO Patch'.

MEMO Patch is an electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring artificial intelligence (AI) solution developed by Huino. It analyzes ECG data measured for up to 14 days using AI to assist medical professionals in diagnosis. Notably, in January, the insurance fee for 'Holter recording for ECG examination' increased to more than four times the previous procedure fee, making it a beneficiary of the insurance fee policy. The product is scheduled to be launched next month.

Previously, Yuhan Corporation secured the status of the second-largest shareholder of Huino through strategic investment. With this sales contract, the strategic partnership between the two companies is expected to become even stronger. Yuhan Corporation anticipates this to be a cornerstone for diversifying its medical device business and establishing its position as a leading company in the smart healthcare industry based on data science. Huino also plans to use this contract as an opportunity to establish itself in the domestic market while preparing for overseas market expansion.
