Recruitment of CFO Choi Yoon-seok
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Beauty medical device company Classys announced on the 14th that it has appointed Baek Seung-han, former CEO of Beckman Coulter Korea, as its new CEO. It also recruited Choi Yoon-seok, former executive director of ESG, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
New CEO Baek graduated from Yonsei University College of Health Science and earned an MBA from Helsinki School of Economics. He has worked at Bayer Korea, Abbott Korea, SK Telecom Healthcare Division, and most recently served as CEO of Beckman Coulter Korea, a global healthcare company specializing in medical diagnostic devices, as well as director of Danaher Korea and director of the Korea Medical Devices Industry Association.
Alongside CEO Baek, newly recruited CFO Choi Yoon-seok is a finance and planning expert who has worked at Samsung SDS and Hyosung, and served as CFO at Gongcha Korea and ESG.
CEO Baek said, “This year will be the first year in which Classys diversifies its sales structure and accelerates global market expansion amid expectations for the resumption of economic activities. We will actively pursue overseas marketing based on the steadily growing brand awareness in foreign markets and Bain Capital’s global network.”
