[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Public Home Shopping announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with the National Council of Economic Promotion Agencies to overcome the COVID-19 crisis through support for sales channels for small business owners and to revitalize the local economy.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to promote ▲support for online non-face-to-face sales channels for small business products ▲support projects to revitalize small business owners in traditional markets ▲projects to support local economic revitalization through public interest free advertising.

The projects under this business agreement will be implemented starting in April. The related costs will be covered by Public Home Shopping’s own public interest budget. They plan to expand information provision and participation opportunities by holding business briefings and consultation meetings visiting small business owners, SMEs, and venture companies across the country.

The business agreement ceremony held at the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do was attended by Cho Seongho, CEO of Public Home Shopping; Yoo Seungkyung, Chairman of the National Council of Economic Promotion Agencies; Lee Hyunwoong, Director of Jeonbuk Economic and Trade Promotion Agency; and Jeon Changrok, Director of Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency.

Cho Seongho, CEO of Public Home Shopping, said, “We are very pleased to share the will to revitalize the local economy through business agreements with 15 economic promotion agencies nationwide,” and added, “Public Home Shopping will do its best to strengthen its role in public sales channels so that it can lead to a virtuous cycle of coexistence.”
