Candidate Park, during her time as a member of the National Assembly, led efforts with opposition lawmakers to amend the Sewol Special Act to investigate the truth of the Sewol ferry disaster and resolve related issues.
She emphasized, "Although I proposed bills related to the Sewol ferry and worked to uncover the truth that has not yet been raised and to ensure children's safety, tragedies continue to repeat," and added, "I will create schools where children can attend safely and establish an educational safety net that protects them within the framework of education."
