The Ventus S1 evo3 being supplied this time features a high-strength bead core and reinforced sidewall structure. Additionally, it applies a lightweight rayon carcass (tire skeleton) and a reinforcement belt made of high-strength advanced fiber aramid material.
It is also characterized by excellent grip due to the high-performance tread compound using natural resin. A run-flat version will also be supplied. Run-flat tires can run at speeds up to 80 km/h even when air pressure is lost.
Hankook Tire started supplying original equipment tires for Mini in 2011 and has supplied major models such as the 1 to 5 series and sport utility vehicles (SUV) X1, 3, and 5. It has also supplied flagship model 7 series and high-performance brand X3 and 4 M.
