Sancheong Saengcho International Sculpture Park's 'Kkotjandi' Beckons... Full Bloom Season Approaches

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Saengcho-myeon, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, has begun environmental maintenance to welcome visitors to Saengcho International Sculpture Park as the moss phlox reaches full bloom.

Saengcho-myeon carried out pine tree pruning around Saengcho IC, moss phlox colony maintenance within the sculpture park, riverside moss phlox replanting, and grass cutting work.

They also renovated a car repair shop, which had been an eyesore along the national highway in the township for several years, and installed holly and moss phlox flower pots along the roadside in that area.

Additionally, they are preparing to welcome visitors by maintaining parking lots in the park and the township and devising parking guidance plans.

A Saengcho-myeon official said, "Although the Moss Phlox Festival was canceled, from April 16 to May 5, during the full bloom period, we plan to operate a marketplace selling local agricultural specialties such as wasabi, minari, onions, and medicinal herbs to provide attractions and increase farmers' income."
