Kukmin Sports Promotion Foundation Safety Activity Level Evaluation Highest Grade

High Scores in Operating Sports Facility Safety Certification System and More

The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation announced on the 14th that it received the highest grade (S) in last year's public institution safety activity level evaluation. The public institution safety activity level evaluation is an assessment system implemented by the Ministry of Employment and Labor since 2019 to enhance safety and health management levels and establish an autonomous safety and health management system. It inspects twenty-six evaluation items across four areas: safety and health management system, safety and health management, safety and health activities, and safety and health performance. The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation was the first in the fund-managed quasi-governmental institution evaluation group to receive an S grade. It earned high scores in areas such as the chairman's participation in safety and health activities, establishment of safety management manuals for construction ordering sites, implementation of a prior work permit system for hazardous tasks, and operation of the sports facility safety certification system (KSPO 45001). Jo Hyun-jae, chairman of the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, stated, "We will prioritize safety to protect the safety of field workers and the public, and strive to become a trusted leading public institution in the sports sector."
