Galleria Department Store practices sharing love by donating social contribution funds to local social welfare organizations every time the Eagles win a home game.
Daejeon Galleria Timeworld (hereinafter Timeworld) will broadcast a media facade featuring a composite of the ‘Hanwha Eagles logo’ and ‘VICTORY,’ conveying a message wishing for the Eagles’ victory.
On days when the Hanwha Eagles have home games in Daejeon this year, Timeworld plans to display cheering messages wishing for the Eagles’ victory on its exterior media facade. The first broadcast will be during the three-game home series against LG starting on the 15th.
The exterior of Timeworld is composed of about 5,700 LED cherry blossom modules, creating a media facade that displays various messages. At the end of February, it broadcast a media facade shaped like the Ukrainian flag, wishing for peace.
In addition to the media facade wishing for the Eagles’ victory, a “Hanwha Eagles Home Game Victory Sharing Donation” will be conducted throughout this professional baseball season.
Every time the Hanwha Eagles win a home game in Daejeon, 1 million KRW per game will be accumulated, and the accumulated donation will be delivered to social welfare organizations in the Daejeon area at the end of the professional baseball season.
A Galleria Department Store official said, “The affection of residents in Daejeon and the Chungcheong region for the Eagles is high, so every year we actively carry out baseball marketing linked with the Hanwha Eagles, such as fan signing events, customer cheering squads, and cheerleader performances,” adding, “This year, we added special meaning by broadcasting a media facade wishing for victory together with residents of Daejeon and Chungcheong and practicing sharing.”
Galleria, Lotte, and Shinsegae all have professional baseball teams as affiliates. The baseball marketing of these three distribution companies is actively carried out centered on the local bases of their affiliated teams, as much as the competition among the teams themselves.
