The National Health Insurance Service Bu-Ul-Gyeong Headquarters Donates 40 Million KRW to Busan City's 'School Outside Youth Dream' Project Dream Fund Donation Ceremony for Out-of-School Youth.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service held a social contribution fund delivery ceremony at Busan City Hall on the 13th for the ‘Dreaming Outside School Youth’ project.

The ‘Dreaming Outside School Youth’ project supports out-of-school youth who face difficulties in entering college and finding employment due to limited information and economic hardships by providing tuition fees, textbook costs, and other expenses for obtaining academic qualifications and certifications.

Since 2019, the Service has signed a business agreement with Busan City to support out-of-school youth, and last year, a total of about 130 out-of-school youth showed remarkable achievements, including 7 in employment and entrepreneurship, 36 in passing qualification exams and entering college, and others obtaining certifications.

Jang Sumok, the head of the regional headquarters, said, “We will continue to provide ongoing support so that out-of-school youth can grow healthily as members of the local community.”
