[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 12th, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education signed a business agreement with the Korea Anti-Doping Agency at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu to establish a clean and fair sports environment and to promote education on the value of sports.
Superintendent Kim Seok-jun and Chairperson Lee Young-hee of the Korea Anti-Doping Agency agreed to exchange human and material resources and cooperate in discovering content and developing programs to activate education on spreading the value of sports.
Superintendent Kim Seok-jun stated, "Through this agreement and the 2022 World Anti-Doping Day event, we will make it an opportunity to raise students' awareness of the importance of spreading the value of sports and preventing doping."
World Anti-Doping Day (Play True Day) on April 8 was established to promote fair and clean sports and to raise awareness about anti-doping.
The Korea Anti-Doping Agency is striving to host the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) General Assembly, held every six years, in Busan in 2025.
