Park Seongsu Inaugurated as the 9th Chairman of Gwangju Economic and Employment Promotion Agency

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Economic Employment Promotion Agency held the inauguration ceremony of the 9th Chairman Park Seong-su on the 11th.

Chairman Park has dedicated his life to education, research, and industry-academia cooperation for regional development. He served as the Dean and Director of the College of Business Administration at Chonnam National University and was the inaugural Director of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Integration Research Institute.

He was also recognized for his contributions and received awards such as the Government Innovation Merit Medal (Presidential) and the Order of Civil Merit, Mongnyeon Medal (Presidential).

In his inauguration speech, Chairman Park stated, "The Economic Employment Promotion Agency is a pivotal institution that leads the Gwangju economy by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, small business owners, export companies, and creating jobs," and expressed his aspiration, "I will do my best with a sense of mission so that the Economic Employment Promotion Agency can be reborn as a workplace respected and loved by the local people."

He also said, "Based on customer satisfaction management, we have established three management policies, called T.O.P. management (Transparent, Open, Participative), and by practicing these, we aim to make the Economic Employment Promotion Agency the top (TOP) institution."
