Gokseong-gun and Crown Haitai Host Life Sculpture Exhibition Together

Meet Large Sculptures by Famous Sculptors

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] The outdoor sculpture exhibition "Gyeonsaeng (見生)" co-hosted by Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do and Crown Haitai will be held from the 14th to June 12th along the Gokseongcheon area at the Ddukbang Market in Gokseong-eup.

The Gyeonsaeng Sculpture Exhibition is organized by Crown Haitai to expand the base of modern sculpture. The exhibition name "Gyeonsaeng" means "life is born when seen," originating from a comment by a visitor at Severance Hospital in Seoul who said, "Seeing the sculptures feels like life is springing forth."

This exhibition features 22 large sculptures by renowned sculptors from across the country and abroad who are actively engaged in creative activities. Gokseong-gun expects the Gokseongcheon area to be transformed into a sculpture park during the exhibition period.

A Gokseong-gun official said, "We held this sculpture exhibition to provide new attractions for tourists visiting our county. It will be a great opportunity to appreciate how familiar everyday subjects can be transformed into artistic works using various techniques."
