[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] FILA Holdings announced on the 11th that it has appointed Mr. Kim Jiheon as the new CEO of its subsidiary FILA Korea.
Yoon Geunchang, who previously served as CEO of both FILA Korea and the group's holding company FILA Holdings, will focus on executing and managing global group-level strategies as CEO of FILA Holdings.
The new CEO Kim joined E-Land Group in 2003 and has worked in the sports fashion industry for nearly 20 years, overseeing E-Land Group's sports business including domestic operations of global sports brands such as New Balance, Puma, and Umbro.
FILA Holdings explained, "We judged that CEO Kim is the right person to successfully lead the domestic execution of the group's ongoing five-year mid- to long-term strategy amid rapidly changing market conditions."
CEO Kim stated, "I will do my best to achieve the goals step by step in line with the group's new direction and transform the brand into a premium lifestyle sports brand."
