[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] North Korea opened an exhibition titled 'Struggle Chronology for Opening a Transitional Phase in Building a Socialist Powerhouse' (hereinafter referred to as the Struggle Chronology) at the Korean Revolution Museum to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party, assuming power, showcasing his achievements over the past decade.
Rodong Sinmun reported on the 11th, "On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong-un being elevated to the highest leadership position of our Party and State, Party and government officials visited the Korean Revolution Museum on the 10th," stating this.
The Korean Revolution Museum, located in Pyongyang, is North Korea's representative museum exhibiting the revolutionary history of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. The establishment of a dedicated hall for General Secretary Kim Jong-un here is interpreted as the full-scale commencement of idolization efforts following those for his grandfather and father.
Rodong Sinmun described the Struggle Chronology as "condensing the revolutionary leadership achievements of the respected Comrade Kim Jong-un, who has persistently led our Party, State, and people along the path of complete victory with extraordinary and outstanding ideological and theoretical foresight and excellent leadership, unfolding a new era of self-reliance and prosperity, and an era of our country's supreme nationalism."
Furthermore, officials expressed, "While viewing videos, photos, documents, and revolutionary historical materials conveying the century-illuminating achievements of the respected General Secretary Comrade, we deeply embraced the great pride and confidence in revolutionarily venerating the peerless leader."
Meanwhile, the North Korean State Stamp Issuing Bureau issued new stamps to mark the 10th anniversary of the General Secretary's leadership.
