[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] SSG.com is strengthening its competitiveness by opening additional official luxury brand stores.
SSG.com announced on the 11th that it has opened the official store of the Italian luxury brand 'Max Mara' and will hold related promotions until the 17th.
'Max Mara' is a luxury fashion brand founded in Italy in 1951 by Achille Maramotti, presenting basic and clean women's wear based on the brand concept of "an intellectual expression of urban women's lives." Its representative products include coats, suits, and slim dresses.
SSG.com offers over 600 products at the 'Max Mara' official store. Considering the spring/summer (S/S) season, it proposes products centered on transitional outerwear and casual T-shirts. Items such as the 'Max Mara Pancha Cotton Dress,' 'Weekend Max Mara Stegora Water-Repellent Trench Coat,' and 'Weekend Max Mara Pretty Cotton T-Shirt' are prepared.
During the event period, all customers will receive up to a 10% discount coupon, and for some promotional products, 5% of the purchase price will be refunded as SSG Money points. Customers who purchase over 1 million KRW will additionally receive a 'Max Mara Keyring' or a 'Weekend Max Mara Eco Bag.'
Next month, the new product for this fall/winter (F/W) season, the 'Max Mara Iconic Coat,' will be unveiled online first.
SSG.com has been continuously securing product reliability by hosting official stores of luxury brands. It succeeded in opening the world's first online official store of 'Gucci' in 2013, followed by 'Ferragamo' in 2014, 'Burberry' in 2015, and 'Montblanc' in 2016. In July last year, it expanded its lineup by adding the Italian high-end watch brand 'Panerai,' the first in the e-commerce industry, and in August, the Swiss high-end jewelry and watch brand 'Piaget.'
SSG.com plans to open additional official stores in the second half of this year to showcase various brands and provide premium delivery services, aiming to strengthen competitiveness in the luxury category.
