Kia Autoland Gwangju "Prevent Serious Accidents, Turn On the Safety Switch"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] "Let's turn on our safety switch to prevent serious accidents!"

Kia Autoland Gwangju announced on the 10th that it held the 'Switch On Safety On Competition,' a performance event to prevent serious accidents and raise safety awareness among executives and employees.

The competition, held in the square in front of the cafeteria of Kia Autoland Gwangju Plant 1, was conducted both online and offline considering the COVID-19 situation.

At the event site, Park Rae-seok, head of Kia Autoland Gwangju Plant, along with executives and employees working in the Safety and Environment section attended, while department heads, field managers, and employees participated online from their respective departments.

The event proceeded with safety wish sequences aimed at preventing serious accident penalties and raising safety awareness.

First, a large ‘NauriTong’ with placards bearing safety wish phrases directly written by frontline production managers was installed in front of the stage at the event site.

Then, Park Rae-seok, the Gwangju plant manager, and employees each selected a safety wish box and placed it into the ‘Nauri Tong,’ reaffirming their commitment to raising safety awareness.

Additionally, using Kia’s app ‘NauriTong,’ employees were encouraged to register safety themes, and the first 150 participants received coffee coupons as part of the event.
