[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is launching a survey on school violence.
On the 10th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced that it will conduct the "2022 1st School Violence Survey" for the prevention and response to school violence from the 11th of this month until the 8th of next month.
The survey targets students from 4th grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in high school within the province.
The survey focuses on witnessing school violence, experiences as victims or perpetrators, and perceptions from the second semester of last year to the present.
Participants can individually access the school violence survey system via PC or mobile without separate membership registration and respond to the survey 24 hours a day.
However, to prevent duplicate participation, students must enter an authentication number provided by their school.
In particular, the survey system supports voice assistance and shortcut key services for visually impaired students, and offers seven multilingual options (English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Russian) for students from multicultural families.
The Gyeonggi Office of Education will disclose the survey results by school on the School Information website in September.
