"Discount Benefits and Feed Donations" SSG.com Spring Pet Supplies Event SSG.com, 'SSG Pet Fair'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] SSG.com continues to strengthen its pet category. Along with holding discount events on related products, it delivered pet food prepared through a customer participation ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) campaign to an animal shelter.

SSG.com announced on the 10th that it will hold the 'SSG Pet Fair' for a week from the 11th to the 17th, offering discounts on essential spring pet supplies. This event was prepared as a token of gratitude to customers who participated in last month's pet food donation-linked ESG campaign, 'Give and Take Pet Fair.'

They prepared walking supplies, strollers, and car seats for spring outings with pets. A representative product is the tick-preventive walking collar 'Seresto.' Pet strollers from 'Piccolocane' and 'Parisdog,' as well as pet car seats from 'Mummer,' are also available at discounted prices.

Dog and cat food that can be received at the desired time through the time-specified delivery service 'SSG Delivery' is also prepared. Premium Canadian pet food brands such as 'Orijen' and 'Boreal' are gathered and showcased together.

There are also pet-exclusive home appliances and furniture. You can purchase 'Catlink's automated litter box for cats, 'Nello's pet dry room,' as well as 'Illoom's custom cat towers and hammock sofa tables at discounted prices.

During this period, SSG.com issues a 10% discount coupon applicable to pet product purchases for all customers. Additionally, the first 500 customers each day from midnight will receive a 15% discount coupon.

Meanwhile, on the 7th, SSG.com delivered 2.7 tons of pet food prepared through the 'Give and Take Pet Fair' campaign to the animal shelter 'Kara The Bom Center' in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. The campaign was conducted in a way that if the total number of product reviews left by customers who purchased pet category products by the end of last month exceeded 3,000 after the event last month, the company would donate pet food to an animal protection organization. The number of reviews written during this period reached about 4,500, exceeding the donation condition.

The pet food was prepared in collaboration with the pet food specialist brand 'Natural Balance.' Previously, the two companies signed a business agreement to jointly promote ESG campaigns and strengthen online business, among other areas of cooperation.

Choi Hee-young, head of the Culture Service Team at SSG.com, said, "As the number of 'Petfamjok' (pet families) increases, sales in the pet category in March grew by about 40% compared to the previous year," adding, "We will continue to strengthen the category by actively promoting discount events, category-linked ESG campaigns, and business agreements with specialized companies."
